About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Store Manager to oversee inventory and warehouse operations at our frozen food manufacturing facility. The role involves managing storage of frozen vegetables, ensuring proper stock handling under controlled temperatures, and maintaining compliance with food safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in cold storage environments and strong knowledge of inventory control systems.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day store and warehouse operations, including raw materials, packaging materials, and finished frozen goods
• Ensure proper storage of products in cold rooms/freezers while maintaining required temperature conditions
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records (inward/outward)
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and dispatch teams for smooth material flow
• Implement FIFO/FEFO practices to minimize wastage and ensure product quality
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as FSSAI, HACCP, and other regulatory requirements
• Supervise loading/unloading activities and ensure proper handling of frozen products
• Maintain documentation related to inventory, temperature logs, and dispatch records
• Lead and train store staff to ensure efficient operations and adherence to safety protocols
Requirements:
• Graduate/Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
• 5–8 years of experience in store/warehouse management, preferably in FMCG or frozen food industry
• Experience working in cold storage or temperature-controlled environments
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and documentation practices
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
